With 30 years in the food and beverage industry, Colin Chia is one of the few industry experts who has held senior roles in both the alcohol FMCG sector as well as in the hospitality industry that has made impacts across the region. An industry veteran who has built his reputation as a champion for Asian bars and bartending around the world, one of his key achievements for the industry was founding and spearheading the Diageo World Class programme in Asia for over a decade. Colin who left Diageo in 2017 to expand his own lifestyle and hospitality business, and is now the CEO of Nutmeg Collective and The Bangkok Collective, which includes Singapore's Nutmeg & Clove, Last Word, and Draft Land, as well as Bangkok's #FindTheLockerRoom and #FindThePhotoBooth. Colin also co-founded the Bangkok Bar Show to showcase and promote the cocktail bar industry in Thailand with the mission to promote fine drinking.

Tariq Widarso is an educator and content creator in the food and beverage industry in Jakarta, Indonesia. A professional photographer and independent writer under his brand Sip Sensei, Tariq is focused on educating and bringing the attention to the bar industry to the public eye through workshops, events, and social media, documenting bartenders, cocktail bars, and cocktails all across South East Asia and beyond. He created Sip Sensei in 2017 to share his interest in cocktails and to encourage others to truly appreciate the creativity and skill that goes into building a cocktail.

Sip Sensei, photographer and cocktail enthusiast, hosted by Rachel Tann, 50 Best Bars Academy Chair for South East Asia & South Korea, as we dive into their bar experiences on the subject of "Cocktails In Asia: The Rise Of South East Asia's Bar Industry", presented by London Essence.
