Hailing from London, Kabir Suharan started his career in the bar and spirits industry by joining Diageo in 2009 and becoming the Brand Ambassador for the Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Kabir then uprooted his life in the UK and moved to Jakarta in 2013 to take on the role of Head of Diageo Reserve Indonesia and setting up the infrastructure for Diageo’s luxury spirit portfolio in the country. Leading a sales and marketing team of only 8 people, Kabir launched and grew numerous brands across Indonesia over a five-year span before leaving the company to venture out on his own, consulting for various bars across Indonesia before finally setting up his own venue, Pantja, in 2019.
